Behind the lens...

My name is Lindsey and I have been taking photos since I was about 5 years old. My camera back then was about as simple as could be – a Vivitar 35mm point and shoot camera. I still remember just what it looked like, too! My camera was about the size and shape of a chunky TV remote and bright purple! Though that camera is long gone, my passion for photography has exponentially increased since childhood. Over the years, I have upgraded my gear and have taken countless classes to learn the art of photography.

Nowadays, I am shooting with a much better camera than my simple purple model and the quality of photos I produced has significantly increased as well. In high school I took senior portraits for some of my best friends and nowadays, my daughters, Jana and Lena, are usually being “framed.”

Currently, our family of 4 is located in Beaufort, South Carolina because my incredible husband is a Captain in the Marine Corps. We have travelled all over the world from Japan to Korea to the United States and it truly inspires me to always keep shooting pictures.

I can happily say photography makes me so truly happy and I look forward to every new day so I can take ONE MORE PICTURE!!
